Part III of this educational series is a collaborative project between Delaware's Division of Public Health, Delaware HIV Consortium, and the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, to prepare Delaware’s primary care and reproductive health care providers on how to prevent, diagnosis, and treat Mpox.
Below are the learning objectives for this education:
- Improve understanding of the potential impacts of mpox-related stigma.
- Recognize the nature and extent of discrimination toward individuals with and at high risk for contracting mpox, including people living with HIV.
- Review the origins and perpetuating factors of mpox discrimination, and tips for reducing discriminatory practices in healthcare settings
- Identify strategies for reducing stigma in mpox communication and community engagement.
