HIV HEART (Health | Education | Assessment | Research | Telehealth) provides HIV/AIDS telehealth-based education and training to medical residents and rural providers in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. These trainings take place weekly, in a one-on-one format, and are conducted by the Medical and Clinical Directors within the grant. Evidence-based practices are utilized to address topics regarding diverse themes that are relevant to rural healthcare providers in the Delta. In addition, a quarterly conference is conducted by interactive video which highlights HIV best practices using a case study format.
