Brian Abascal, MFA, has been working in HIV care and prevention program coordination services for over 15 years. He currently coordinates Pacific AETC’s portfolio of CDPH Office of AIDS-funded projects, which supports training and technical assistance to providers and organizations offering PrEP, clinic-based HIV testing services, and other high impact prevention activities in targeted local health jurisdictions.
He is also the coordinator of the Pacific AETC's telehealth program, the HIV Learning Network, which provides bi-monthly sessions that combine clinical case and topic discussions with short didactic presentations. Prior to his time with the PAETC, Brian was the coordinator of Boston HAPPENS, the adolescent HIV care and prevention program at Children's Hospital Boston, which was a Local Partner Site for the New England AETC.
